Gross Filth Cleaning

Gross Filth Cleaning

‘Gross filth’ is a term used to describe residences or other buildings which have suffered from long-term neglect, and require extreme cleaning to make them safe. Examples of where gross filth can occur are squats, void properties, and in cases of extreme hoarding.

A typical gross filth clean up will usually involve a building or residence that a reasonable person would find uninhabitable or unsafe. This can be due to any combination of biohazards: excessive rubbish, expired food, odour, faecal matter (animal or human), bodily fluids, mould, mildew, animal or insect infestation etc.

The task of cleaning an area of gross filth can be challenging for an individual untrained in decontamination and odour removal. In addition, those tasked with such a job must be trained in locating and safely eliminating hazardous materials.

We have the equipment, skills and experience to professionally clean and disinfect areas of gross filth, and safely dispose of any bio-hazardous waste.
